We have been married for 10 years this September 23. We have three wonderful daughters and decided several months ago that we were not done expanding our family. We started the adoption process in May of this year. Our home study is complete and will probably have our dossier registered with China by November with the hope of traveling to China sometime in early next year to get our son.
My motivation to participate with Team LWB this year
As we researched and learned more about the children in China awaiting families, we found Love Without Boundaries. It provides wonderful information to prospective adoptive parents and adoptive parents but, most importantly it provides care and support to orphaned children in China. While we continue to pursue the adoption of a little boy from China, we are proud to support this amazing organization!

I'm participating on behalf of Marisol. Beautiful Marisol has a complex heart defect and is very ill at this time. She is a sweet little girl who managed to smile despite being so ill with heart disease. Her medical condition was so serious that it was not initially known whether surgery would even be an option for her. She came to LWB's Heartbridge Pediatric Unit in May at four months of age, and underwent her much needed heart surgery in June. Her surgery went well, but doctors have been unable to wean her from the respirator. Marisol is such a fighter and has been through so much in her short life. We are praying for a miracle for her. Where there is life, there is hope.
