The funds raised from Val's unique challenge will go directly to support orphans in China in LWB's Cleft Healing Home in Henan. Our Cleft Healing Homes are dedicated to caring for some of the most vulnerable orphans in China; babies who are born with cleft lip and/or palate. These children often become failure to thrive and need extra 1 on 1 care. LWB´s homes are staffed with well-trained nannies that devote their time to the careful nurturing of these children, allowing them to put on needed weight to receive surgery, and to recover after surgery in a safe, well monitored environment.
