My motivation to participate with Team LWB this year
After having so much fun at the Oklahoma City Memorial Kids Marathon, I decided I wanted to do more running. My dad is running the marathon and I wanted to be part of this event, too.

I'm participating on behalf of Gracie. Gracie (from Zhengzhou, Henan) is the "class clown" of our Heartbridge unit. Born in January of 2007, she came to us in April of that year after a complicated heart surgery. She had a difficult time after her operaation, but is now doing very well. Gracie is active, cooperative, and she loves to mug for the camera and keep all the older children entertained. She has been matched with a famiy for adoption; we are sure that she will keep them smiling and laughing for years to come!
