  • This fun event is designed to teach children the importance of exercise, commitment and that they can make a difference in the life of another child.

    Children ages 6-13 register for the Marine Corps Marathon Healthy Kids Fun Run held October 30th (the day before the MCM), then commit to run 25.2 miles prior to that date. They will run the final mile of their "marathon" with TeamLWB for a total of 26.2 miles.

    Participants can choose to collect pledges to benefit children living in LWB's Healing Homes. Runners committed to collecting pledges will be matched with a child living in our Healing Homes as their inspiration.

    To participate, register through Healthy Kids Fun Run. Registration is just $5 and participants receive a t-shirt, medal and snacks at the finish line. After registering with MCM2010, email Sandi to register with TeamLWB (no cost) and get started on your personalized webpage.
