I am mom to five crazy, beautiful kids. Two of my children are adopted from China. Shae came home to us in 2005 at the age of 15 months from Changde in the Hunan province. Benjamin came home in 2008 at the age of 28 months from Shantou in the Guangdong province. Benjamin benefited from Love Without Boundaries Nutrition and Believe in Me School programs while in China. They are amazing little people and I can't imagine our family without them.
My motivation to participate with Team LWB this year
I started running a little over a year ago and have ran a few 5K's and two half marathons. The next step for me is the Little Rock Marathon. I am very excited to have started marathon training. I want to run and raise money for something close to my heart. Love Without Boundaries is an amazing organization and provides so many programs for orphans in China. The money raised will go to the Huianan SWI's nutrition program.

I'm participating on behalf of The children in Huainan Believe in Me school. With your help, 75 children will receive healthy snacks 3 days a week during the school day. This nutritious snack will fill their tummies so they can learn better and help their overall health. They sure enjoyed the first snack they got!
