Ian Comfort

Welcome to my website

My name is Ian Comfort. I am an 8th grader. I like to run, play basketball, do computer games and paintball.
The Marine Corps Marathon 10K will by my first 10K. I am running to support Love Without Boundaries and to honor my grandfather, Clayton Comfort. My grandfather is buried at Arlington National Cemetery, where the 10K race will end. Thank you for reading my page and supporting me!

My motivation to participate with Team LWB this year

I want to be part of the Marine Corps Marathon activities and help LWB to help kids like Samuel get the medical care they need and families to love them.

I'm participating on behalf of Samuel. This is Samuel, from the Huainan orphange in Anhui Province. Samuel was born with his bladder on the outside of his body, so he had a very complicated (and successful!) surgery in May to put it back inside where it belongs. Now eight months old, Samuel can enjoy "tummy time" on the floor, and is just learning how to do the army crawl. Samuel has a mellow personality, he is very attached to his pacifier and he will smile adoringly at his nannies when they give him a kiss or tickle. He really is the sweetest little boy!
