I'm a mother of three boys (ages 12, 10, 7), who give me many reasons to smile each day. I recently finished up my Divinty degree at the Lutheran Theological Seminary in Gettyburg, PA. I hope to be a pastor soon. I love to run, bike, hike, garden - basically anything that gets me outside!
My motivation to participate with Team LWB this year
I ran the Marine Corps Marathon last year as a personal goal - which was an amazing experience. I wanted to say I had run a marathon. Soon after that I met a friend who told me all about Love Without Boundaries. This year I am running for Haley and for others who need a little help so they can have a chance at achieving all their goals!

I'm participating on behalf of Haley. Haley arrived at the Anhui Cleft Healing Home just days after her birth in Huainan in February 2009. Haley was born with a bilateral cleft lip and palate which makes it very difficult for her to drink her formula. Haley will receive the one-on-one care that she needs to gain weight in order to receive the healing gift of cleft lip surgery. Haley enjoys smiling, kicking her legs; having the nannies talk to her makes her a very happy girl.
