Welcome to my website
I am a "young" 52 year old father of 9 (four adopted from China,) who ran my first marathon three years ago. I'm very appreciative of the work my wife, Sandi, does for the children in China, through Love Without Boundaries. I can tell you from personal observation that there are very few charitable organizations that can match Love Without Boundaries in terms of their true commitment to the children. Amy Eldridge and her world wide volunteers get more done in a day then most CEO's of Fortune 500 countries do all year. They are focused, committed and driven. I'm very happy to again train and try to beat my PR of 4:28. All I can say to anyone who is thinking about running is "if this old guy can do it, so can you."
My motivation to participate with Team LWB this year
I'm running because it's a great event, not much beats the feeling of finishing a 26.2 mile race - except maybe helping a few more children at the same time.

I'm participating on behalf of Eoin. Eoin has lived in LWB’s Henan Cleft Healing Home for many months and has always struggled with health issues. He was born with a unilateral cleft lip and palate. His lip has already been repaired by LWB. He suffers with asthma and has a very wide cleft palate, which increasing the danger of aspirated food. He loves to cruise around the home in his walker and is loved by all the nannies.
