I have two girls ages 6 and 3. My 6 year old if from Guiyang, Guizhou Province. My 3 year old is a biological child. My girls enjoy being together and look out for each other. It's a beautiful thing.
My motivation to participate with Team LWB this year
I want to get healthy again. I ran in 2008. I was really proud to be part of this team. I've had knee surgery. It would be really neat to come back and do it again.

I'm participating on behalf of Diana. Diana is a 3 month old baby girl born with a unilateral cleft lip and palate. She arrived at LWB’s Anhui Cleft Healing Home severely malnourished and weak, weighing only 2 kg. She has been struggling with respiratory infections which are difficult to fight off in her weakened state. She has been in and out of the hospital and ICU for bronchial pneumonia. With proper nutrition and medical care that LWB provides, she will be able to grow stronger so that she can receive life-changing cleft surgery.
