I'm participating on behalf of Marshal. Marshal was born prematurely in September, 2009. He was moved to LWB’s Heartbridge unit from his orphanage in Huainan, Anhui because he didn’t have the strength to eat. With the fragile lungs that are so typical in preemies, Marshal has had some serious respiratory issues and ended up in the hospital twice with pneumonia. He has also had cataracts removed from both eyes, and a benign mass removed from his abdomen. Even with these troubles, Marshal is a quiet and gentle baby who loves to hear the voice of his nanny.
