I'm participating on behalf of Cole. Cole arrived at LWB’s Heartbridge Healing Unit last September from the Hefei orphanage in Anhui Province. He was born with a severe abdominal blockage that requires three separate surgeries to repair, with time at Heartbridge to recover between each procedure. With so much time spent in the hospital, Cole is physically delayed for his age, but his loving nannies keep working to catch him up as quickly as possible. One nanny says Cole is “one tough little boy” who has a great deal of determination. He has a very adorable smile too!
