Married mother of two girls with the intention of adopting a child in the near future. I've been a runner since age 15, and a black belt in Martial Arts since the age of 9. I am now partial owner of a company dedicated to teaching children what I grew up learning. This will be my fourth full marathon.
My motivation to participate with Team LWB this year
I love to challenge myself, enjoy the adrenaline rush as well as knowing I will be helping children in need.

I'm participating on behalf of Joseph. Joseph is a 2 month old baby boy who was born with a bilateral cleft lip and palate. He has spent some time in the hospital with pneumonia but is now feeling better. He is loving the one on one care of the nannies in Love Without Boundaries Henan Cleft Healing Home who feed him and take care of his medical needs. Joseph will receive cleft lip surgery in the fall so that he can eat better and continue to grow.
