The funds raised for the Road Runner Akron Marathon will go directly to provide an orphan in China medical treatment through the LWB Medical Fund.

Healing children with medical needs is one of the foundations of Love Without Boundaries. Through our Medical Program, we provide funding for many types of surgeries and medical care, including heart surgeries, cleft lip and palate repair, and colorectal repairs. We also fund preemie care and club foot casting treatment. We continue to follow-up on children for at least one full year after treatment.

It is our hope that this fund will help a child have lifechanging medical treatment and a chance for adoption! Our full financial report is available on the Foundations web site.
